Power Delivery Structures Manufactured in Texas, by Texans. SI Utility began as a division of Smith Industries in 2022 as a complimentary business unit to its oil and gas division, which is a longstanding, trusted supplier of custom, ASME coded Vessels and API coded Tanks. In June 2025, SI Utility was officially launched, bringing together an industry-experienced leadership and operations team with over 100 years of combined expertise in the steel structure power delivery sector. Leveraging this deep knowledge base, SI Utility is positioned to deliver reliable, high-quality substation steel, utility poles, and power-delivery infrastructure solutions across the U.S. SI Utility is an excellent compliment to SI Legacy, combining essential power delivery support structures with essential surface equipment to the Oil and Gas sector.
